Aluminum rollator is perfect for those who desire freedom and independence but have limited mobility. Rollers are mobile auxiliary devices with auxiliary functions, such as steering handles, brake mechanisms, seats, wheels, folding styles, storage units and frame materials. Here are 8 tips to consider when buying a four-wheeled rollator:
Load capacity
Compare your weight with the maximum weight of the roller. Some rollers have a maximum load capacity of 250 to 300 pounds, while others offer 500 to 600 pounds.
Height size
The roller handle has a minimum and maximum height range. Most manufacturers recommend adjusting the handle height to wrist height when standing upright. By pressing the buckle, some casters can be adjusted on the handle and others can be adjusted on the leg extension.
Height from floor to seat
Make sure your feet are flat on the floor when sitting. This will provide greater stability when sitting and standing.

Brake
The most common brake system is ring-shaped and pushes down. The ring brake is very suitable for people who have the flexibility and strength to compress the handle. Push down method is more suitable for people with arthritis. It requires the weight of the user to prevent the roller from moving forward.
Seat style
Some seats are plastic, while others are cushioned. The seats come in various sizes. Some are wide and narrow, some are square.
Wheel size
Identify different terrain uses. Larger wheels provide greater stability. Most roller cars sell 6-inch or 8-inch wheels.
Folding style
There are two different folding styles for four-wheelers. Some are folded into a vertical direction, and some are folded to resemble a walker. This type of roller car has two side panels with a pressure-plate folding release mechanism.
Frame material
Rollers are usually made of two materials: aluminum and steel. Aluminum rollers are lighter, usually associated with individuals weighing less than 250 pounds. Steel drums are heavier than aluminum drums, but at a lower cost.
